Zeus Jones does a very cool writeup on Tumblr’s signup process!

After reading it occured to me this summarises a decent chunk of what I’ve been trying to do with my designs of late. Call it microcopy or Conversational UX you want to communicate with user and start a exchange rather than an ‘interaction’.

The problem is it looks simple when done well, but certainly isn’t easy to implement. It can be downright terrible when it’s done piecemeal.
