Facebook is not Twitter

Alex Iskold is right, it is not a good decision for Facebook to compete with Twitter directly.

If they persist they risk ending up in a Similar hole to RIM where they neglected their core business (keyboards, email) to chase the iPhone. In doing so they proved they were a long way from being competitive in that space.
