Copies vs attention
Here’s the music industry’s problem as I see it:
Spotify has my attention, and anyone on Spotify can have my attention with no additional cost to me. The amount of money they make it is related to how much of my attention they have (how many streams I listen to).
On iTunes they have to convince me to spend money again, on Spotify they don’t. On iTunes it’s black and white...
Really?
Surveys consistently show Americans hold the Republican Party in lower esteem than the Democratic Party, even as the GOP stormed to victories.
This is the kind of thing I don’t understand.
