The science wordplay keeps coming
Although I still feel you should always test on actual apps, like an actual user, if something like Alkaline lets you test earlier and test more it’s worth its weight in Gold. Certainly makes a Litmus account more attractive. It also means you don’t have to use a PC as much. via Simple Bits

There's always some things missing.
Skype for iPhone is on the way, but as usual there are some issues. Hopefully the push notifications in 3.0 will allow incoming calls at any time but WHY no calls on the actual phone network? Is Apple’s revenue from deals with carriers screwing subscribers? Or is this another misguided attempt by Apple to protect users from themselves? Either way I think it’s kind of crap. ...

Apple seem to be interested in doing something similar with Music....

Present.ly is enterprise Twitter. I guess the key differences to email are: A character limit (handy I think); It’s public by default and it has a better interface than Outlook (Google Apps, or just switching to mac anyone?). I look forward to a time in the workplace where my expected pain in trying to get people to use something like this would be outweighed by the advantages. Now does...

Job title design
Chiara Fox from Adapative Path has announced she’s no longer an Information Architect. I think Chiara nicely captures how the shift in job titles is based on shifts in practice. I wonder if she has any tips on how to explain the role (whatever you chose to call it) to older relatives?
